About us

Who we are

GCC Indemnity is a free information service published by Kuwait Up2Date (kuwaitup2date.com), based in Kuwait.

We built this site because end-of-service rules differ across the six GCC countries, change often, and are hard to find in plain language – especially for domestic workers and government employees.

Where it started: the Kuwait Indemnity Calculator

This site grew out of the Kuwait Indemnity Calculator on kuwaitup2date.com, a well-established tool that residents in Kuwait use to estimate their end-of-service indemnity under Labour Law No. 6 of 2010 and the Domestic Workers Law No. 68 of 2015.

It goes beyond a single number: it shows a step-by-step calculation and a year-by-year growth chart, compares resignation with termination, estimates the full final settlement (unused leave, notice pay, unpaid salary and deductions), converts the result into Indian Rupees, Pakistani Rupees and Philippine Pesos, and can prepare an early-settlement request letter on your own device.

Readers asked for the same clear, law-based approach for the rest of the Gulf. GCC Indemnity is our answer: the same standards, now covering all six GCC countries and every type of worker.

How we build the calculators

Every calculator is based on the published labour law of the country concerned. Each page names the law and the article it follows, links to the official authority, and shows the date the content was last reviewed.

Where the law is unclear, or leaves the amount to the employment contract, we say so instead of guessing.

Independence

We are not a government body, a law firm or a recruitment agency, and we are not affiliated with any ministry. The site is funded by advertising, which never affects the calculations.

Corrections

If you notice an error or a change in the law, please email us at info@gcc-indemnity.com. We review every report.
